Super Brahmi 6000 contains a patented form of Brahmi that is standardised to contain Bacoside A, the main active constituent in the herb.

Brahmi improves memory and cognitive performance in adolescents and elderly individuals. Brahmi maintains mental function and recall in children.

Brahmi is an antioxidant and is traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine as a nervine to support nervous system health and improve learning ability.

• Bacopa monnieri (Brahmi) whole plant extract (BacoMind®) 300mg, derived from dry whole plant minimum 6g (stand. to contain bacosides calc. as bacoside A 135mg)

Adults: Take 2 tablets daily, with food.

Children 6 - 18 years: Take 1 tablet daily, with food. Or take as directed by your health professional. Tablets can be crushed and added to food.

Does not contain egg, milk, peanut, corn, soy, tree nuts, animal products, gluten, lactose or artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:

Caution with acetyl cholinesterase inhibitors, anticholinergic and cholinergic drugs - Brahmi may increase acetylcholine levels.

CAUTIONS:

Not recommended in pregnancy due to a lack of safety data.

Caution in hyperthyroidism as Brahmi can theoretically elevate T4 levels.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Side effects are rare but can include mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea, abdominal cramps and increased stool frequency.
