• Soy phosphatidylserine-enriched soy lecithin powder 100mg, equiv. soy phosphatidylserine 20mg
• Levomefolate glucosamine (Quatrefolic®) 90.17 micrograms, equiv. Levomefolic acid (5-MTHF) 50 micrograms

Adults: Take 1 tablet, twice daily, with food, or as directed by your health professional.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:

Contraindicated with anti-retroviral HIV/AIDS medication - Ginkgo may reduce effectiveness.

Contraindicated with talinolol (Beta-blocker medication) - Ginkgo may have an additive effect.

Caution with acetyl cholinesterase inhibitors, anticholinergic and cholinergic drugs - Brahmi may increase acetylcholine levels.

Caution with blood thinning and anti-platelet medications (e.g warfarin, aspirin and ibuprofen) - concurrent administration with Ginkgo may increase the risk of bleeding.

Caution with nexium - coadministration with Ginkgo can increase the metabolising enzyme and reduce drug effectiveness. Monitor.

Caution with prilosec and losec - coadministration with Ginkgo may reduce drug effectiveness. Monitor.

Caution with hypoglycaemic medications - Ginkgo may influence insulin secretion. Monitor blood glucose levels.

Caution with drugs metabolised by the Cytochrome P450 enzyme - Ginkgo may reduce drug effectiveness. The main classes of drugs include antidepressants, anticonvulsants and immunosuppressants.

Caution with blood pressure medication - Ginkgo may reduce drug effectiveness. Monitor blood pressure.

Caution with iron supplements - Rosemary may reduce the absorption of iron. Separate dose by 2 hours.

CAUTIONS:

Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding due to insufficient safety data.

Caution in hyperthyroidism - Brahmi can theoretically elevate T4 levels.

Discontinue use 7 days before any surgery.

Avoid in people with epilepsy - Ginkgo may promote seizure activity.

Rosemary is high in salicylates.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Side effects are rare but can include mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea, abdominal cramps and increased stool frequency (Brahmi).
