Adults and children over 12 years: Take 1 tablet, once or twice daily, with food, or as directed by your health professional.

Does not contain egg, milk, peanut, tree nuts, animal products, gluten, lactose or artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

WARNINGS:

Contains zinc which may be dangerous if taken in large amounts or for a long period. Vitamin and mineral supplements should not replace a balanced diet.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:

Caution with aluminium-based antacids - vitamin C increases the amount of aluminium absorbed. Separate doses by at least 2 hours.

Caution with anticoagulant and antiplatelet drugs - vitamin E may enhance the effects and decrease levels of vitamin K-dependent clotting factors (usually only a concern at higher doses). Monitor.

Caution with ciclosporin - vitamin E may increase drug absorption. Use under supervision of a health professional.

Caution with orlistat - drug may impair absorption of vitamin E. Separate dose by 2 hours.

Caution with NSAIDs, cephalexin and tetracyclines and quinolone antibiotics - zinc forms complexes with these drugs and may reduce drug effectiveness. Separate dose by 3 hours.

CAUTIONS:

Contraindicated in Wilson's disease - a rare inherited disorder of copper storage in which biliary excretion of copper is impaired.

Caution with iron overload conditions, such as hemochromatosis, as vitamin C increases iron absorption.

SIDE EFFECTS:

None noted at the recommended dose.
